Background

You could say that my interest was sparked in 2001 when I traveled to Edmonton, Alberta with Jim and Cory Duncan to race at the Western Canadian Championships on grass! I continued to help Duncan Trailers race on grass in many small towns in Sask..I pushed, I hauled,I learn’t .Then we then went to Haydays World Series on grass in 2004!!!!
.Believe me, Racing was in my blood !!!
After the tragic accident that claimed my two friends lives, I purchased Duncan’s 2002- 1000 Imp stock Thundercat from Helen. Helen and Duncan Trailers continue to sponsor my race program! I am in the process of rebuilding the 1000 Improver and plan to race it this summer.

So then came the dilemma ! Now that I have one race sled , I had to convince my wife that we needed two!! I ventured to help Albert Ratti, in memory of Duncan Trailers at Haydays World Series of grass in fall 2006. We were honored to take place 3rd in Pro Stock 1000cc. That’s when Jamie Hogg’s 500cc Open Mod Kicked some but and grabbed my attention. I intern got Jamie’s attention before he loaded it up and Jamie and I struck a deal.

High Voltage Racing was officially ready to begin racing.
