Warren Wilde and Brad White have come a long since they started racing four years ago. In the beginning Warren got the bug after running a few races with a stock Formula III 700. That just wasn't quite enough. Brad showed an interest and then Meadow Lake Truck and Trailer took over the financing. From there they only had eyes for the top Improved sleds they could muster up. Their single biggest knowledge base is that of clutching. experimenting with custom helixes and Ski-Doo race books, they finally found the stuff that works.
As these guys put it, "You can have all the power in the world, but it does no good if you can't put it on the ground."
They weren't going to tell any secrets but they are proud of their split second engines. "Ralph knows what he's doing with Ski-Doo engines." Rumor has that MLTNT is looking to build another sled. This one is to be raced in The 800
improved class and it should rock.
There are some SERIOUS Sled heads in that country and I hope to get around to all of them.
