Bear Grease racing has there way at Cole Bay. Renes team dialed in there all there sleds and filled there pockets with envelopes by the end of the day. Not to say that they had an easy go to victories. Ryan O"Bryan's 1000 cc. Ski-Doo had a very good showing, and Lloyd Yews 1000 T-cat ran hard. Rebelsled Racing managed there way to 4 finals and there Yellow Mach Z took the 800 improved class. But the real surprise came in the 700 & 800 stock classes with Northland Chryslers team of blue Yammys. Dale Rodgers of Meadow Lake obviously spent some time on the test track and is going to be a contender at the Westerns in Meadow. Running down F7"s is no easy feat. Ed Schille of Beauval also is giving the Cat boys everything they can handle with his XCR 800. Merv Morin and Glenn Iron both did a great job running the races. The track started out okay early in the day but got extremely rough by the end of the day. Eldon Edquist from Beauval actually got thrown off his sled in the shut down area(too rough). Good races, a little rough. Thanks to the organizers and volunteers for putting on races for the rest of us to enjoy. Big thanks to Cole Bay Rebelsled (Correspondent) Thanks Warren |
