A Canwood Afternoon!

One mans curse is another mans blessing!
Although the sled numbers were not there, which I dont
understand. It turned into a very appealing afternoon!
It was so good to be there. A very homey, comfortable feeling came over me while at this event. The Cameo hall was occupied with hungover, socialable, and cheery people.(Considering the condition some of them were in!) I really enjoyed this race!

It was a cold wind that kept the racers back, or thats what I would like to say. Talking to an old home boy, he mentioned that in years past, they had a lot more sleds. However, from the reports of the night before, it might be understandable.

Congratulations to all the local racers that were in shape to race!
Its really good to see people get involved in the events.

Glenn Clayton let loose a couple of times with his new ????cc Mountain sled!
He was looking for someone, that didn't show up! OOWA!
I think Glenn is going Fishing for some Shark!!

It looked to me like these three had a blast! Thats what its all about!

Trent from Haywire Racing had his fair share of demons this weekend!
This is the hardest working Racer I know! It was a good thing, cold hands don't bother him!

Way to go, Glenn Gailbraith! He made sure that the New Yamaha was noticed!
This was his race! Check the Results and you will see what I mean!
You can't ignore that kinda Spankin'!

I want to thank Canmore Snow Blazers and all the volunteers for an
enjoyable afternoon of racing! Without the volunteers, nobody races!

I would also like to thank Brad Enns, and his family for organizing and running the show!

Also Thank Dale Roger and Warren Wilde for doing teck!
Warren's sleds are still haunted, but assures me that they will be ready for next weekend!
Whats this? Could it be? Did Hell Freeze Over? Dale may also race next weekend!
Hell freezing over is not necessarily a bad thing!
Its another place to race!
