Melville - 05

Great job at Melville Curtis, you did a bunch of work and of course I can appreciate a person that works hard to make other people happy. My hat goes off to you and all your volunteers. We should have all the race results updated very soon and they will be posted on this very web-site. Of course a ton of thanks goes out to you Rick for been that information highway. Keep it up everyone and the THUNDER CITY race team will BE READY.

Melville was a Field of Dreams for Prostock and Mod fans. This new location Is Great! Some more attention is needed, but for a first year, it passed with flying colors. Lots of work went into the track and the Race, and Curtis and the Good
" VOLUNTEERS"
in Melville pulled it together very nicely!

Its a Good thing that Terry Denomie got that spankin truck and trailer, for his machines did not fair well, in this round. He'll have them ready for the
Holco 500 in Saskatoon.

It was good to see an "old" (Yea Right!) icer like Shane Goller get back into the grass scene. He comes in very competitvely and NOBODY takes him lightly. Its cause icers have such a cold disposition. Glad to see Shane out there enjoying the summer.

The Duncan Team Did very well here, taking King Open. All their machines did well, not to say Cory wasn't doing his part. Cory always surprises me. He is such a quiet Gentleman, and yet there is nothing he would like more than to "DRAG YO ASS" all over that track. It must be a Jeckyl and Hyde syndrome.

A Giant Tip of the Hat goes to Trent Diedrich from Fort Macmurray. Now I hope I spelled everything correctly. He used to come around a couple of years ago, but opted out last year. He's making his appearance again this year, and is showing to be a force. His commitment is nothing less than Outstanding!

All in ALL, I want to say it was good to see Yall again, and meet some newuns.
I always enjoy it. It's just too bad I can't sit, watch and enjoy a few cold ones.
