Montreal
Lake Every once in awhile you will find a race of topguns and thats what happened in Montreal Lake. Not very many sleds, But WOW, what competition. It would have been nice to see Jamie Hogg bring his RMK, because he was there for the ice. It was good to see the Olson brothers fight it out on their F-7s. Again Rebelsled Racing and Bear Grease Racing had their battle of the 700s. That's always good to watch. I had a chat with the guys from Tall Pine Racing. They had some trouble with a couple sleds, but assured me they would be there to give it their all. I am always impressed meeting new racers. Always willing to give a hand to others, may it be fixing idlers, replacing O rings, setting up clutches or simply helping pull someone out of a snowbank. These guys have a sense of community within the racing circle. ATTA Boy! The track was hard, and the recent snow saw huge piles off the side of the ice track, which made a nice perch for me. The volunteers did an outstanding job and The NLDRA had set it up nicely. Way to go In Montreal Lake. Good Show. (Shark, beware the Big Green Monster.) Rebelsled |
