WOW! That was some day. On the way
to Paradise, Rene Rediron had his vehicle attacked by a deer and ripped
his tire off. Warren and Brad of Rebelsled Racing came within inches
of embedding a bull moose on the front end of that hemi. All for the
Glory of Racing. Anyway, I must say that Paradise Hill was GREAT. Competition
was unreal. This was not a cakewalk for anybody. If you were not on
top of your game, you might as well of gone home. The weather was supposed
to be warm, however the west winds and clouds kept a chill in the air
and the track did great. Very well organized, great staging area, and
an excellent group of volunteers. It was thrilling to watch, because
no one team dominated. The outcome was not written in stone. In one
race, a dispute arose and it happened the camera ran out of tape. All
agreed to re-race. The last place, now became first and changed the
whole outcome. Question, what happened in the first race, that he was
in last? ZZZZZ. Oops, did I say that out loud? Rebelsled |
