SSRA Snow Season Opener

This was a beautiful day accompanied by some quick sleds.
Some burndowns, and glitches were the order of the day.
Warren Wilde burnt out a cylinder in the semis and Darryl made it to the
final in Open King, just as he had a meltdown.

Cory Benjaminson's Cat had started the day fartin and bogging.
He mentioned that he just took it out the day before, and had not had any time to tune.
As the the day progressed, it started to look like it was coming back and by the end of the day,
he had the bugs out.

I was really impressed with a Rev platform 440 Sno Pro that was competing with Dogs alot bigger
than himself. He took a few envelopes home. Sweet sled!

A New Nitro owned and piloted by Ben Doerkson, wrapped up the stock classes. Finishing in the top
3 in almost all. Hopefully paid for most of the trip.

Les from Big Dog Racing hosted the race and also took a few envelopes.
A very good season opener for snow racing in Saskatchewan with about 40
sleds. An enjoyable afternoon of racing.
I was very pleased to see the extra booty (cash not what your thinking)
go to the racers. This makes a nice difference and I fully endorse this.

The Sled that stole the show was asked to be tecked, but was
found to unnecessary, as he never entered.
